Vibrational Therapy
by Michelle Camilleri
What is Vibrational Therapy?
Melding Himalayan therapy (Vibrational Therapy) is using singing bowls on the body with tuning forks to assist the body back into balance. When our vibrations are in harmony, we experience optimal health. Himalayan singing bowls have been used for centuries for healing and meditation purposes. HSB impacts the sympathetic & parasympathetic nervous system as your brain waves synchronize to the vibrations of the bowls. They create a range of high frequency sounds to restore the body & cells back into harmony through vibrational therapy. Tuning Forks are a musical instrument that emit sound vibrations when they are struck. As the tuning forks vibrates and sound waves move into the body, cells begin to vibrate at only the harmonics shared with the tuning forks. Buffalo drum is a profound and sacred element of Native American culture.
Michelle's Journey
Michelle's healing journey started at "The Open Center" in NYC - whose mission is to -

"address the real-life challenges of existence through spiritual, holistic and integrative practices to create a harmonious relationship between ourselves, each other and the planet"

- offered her a first glimpse into the world of healing modalities. Michelle experienced her first reflexology session as a client in Puerto Rican rainforest and felt strongly this practice was something she was called to learn fastidiously and provide to others. She graduated from "The Open Center's reflexology certification program in 1999 and has been practicing since that time. Michelle's practice demonstrates profound respect for the ancient history and roots of the modality and experience fulfillment in the relationships she creates with her clients through this reinvigorating yet calming practice.

In 2021, she connected to sound therapy through a friend who had crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls and gong in her shared space. She fell in love with this modality as it helped with her healing journey as well as giving her clients a sample. During the summer of 2023 she became certified as a vibrational and sound practitioner. She finds that this ancient tool is assisting her clients through releasing old patterns and trauma.
